	<title>Hellbeast v2</title>

First i sculpted the zbrush model from zsphere + retop with NEX  then i rendered a few passes in Maya of the pose model to comp them all together in Photoshop. Once this stuff was set up i started to paint the skin color, horns etc. Mixed of handpainting and photos.<br />

The goal here was just to find a good look for this creature design hence the overpaint in photoshot. This is a faster process then to actually create real textures to render it in maya. Here i have full freedom on the look i want to achieve with a real-time &quot;rendering&quot; quality.  <br />

I wanted to try a quick efficient way to see a sculpt model fully textured and lit. So basically i did a first polypaint pass on the model then mixed in photoshop different renders from zbrush.<br />

We had to translate a comic book character of our choice into an in-game model. Textures limitation; 1024k and Polycount limitation ; 7000 tris . As you can see i decided to do AbeSapien, i mixed ideas from the comics and from the movie plus add my own twist. Eventually i decided to add a Zbrush Pass and create the texture to have a final pic. I used 3dstudio max for polymodeling, zbrush to add details , texture and Mental Ray for the render. i used the SSS Fast Skin Material + Displace  for the shader. <br />
The modeling work is based on a <b>concept created by Miles Teves</b> ( www.milesteves.com )  and the texturing is my own.<br />
